Christmas Cards

Put together the pics for our card this year and ordered them via shutterfly. These are the ones that made the cut. Our picture was taken in a photo booth at a friend's wedding - though I wish the hat was mine!

Amber was showing a cow at ISU a few weeks ago. She did pretty good, but the cow was not very cooperative.

Another from the zoo - I had quite a few good looks from animals, but I tried to pick the ones where it wasn't as obvious that they were stuck in an enclosure. It was a really large place, but still.

Visited the Omaha Zoo this summer - the jellyfish tank was neat, really reallly blue.

Another picture from Snus Hill Winery - season is wrapping up for hanging out and listening to music at the winery. Too bad.

Another flooded field..expect USDA to be dropping their estimates because the yields are going to be below average per acre.

I have found that the summer time is not the blogging time for me. That and the computer crashed. Now up on Windows 7 - which is great for those of you that haven't yet tried it. Here's a photo I took a while back, I think it was a century farm - and it was for sale at the time.

Not really any pictures here, just can't quite fall asleep. Got called out to a car accident, driver ran a stop sign coming onto a county highway and pulled out in front of some scouts coming back(?) from camping. Maybe it was too stormy. 3 to the hospital.

The guide from the resort pulled that thing off the ocean floor and let people hold it. Pretty neat!

Went snorkeling just out from the resort - just before we left on this trip I bought a Panasonic Lumix TS1. Shockproof/waterproof/dustproof. Good backup camera.

And there we were drinkin in the pool. Swim-up bars are sweet, but I didn't notice too many people getting out to use the bathroom....

gross. but hey, enough Jamaican Rum and it's all good

Out the window in the morning before breakfast - they turn the waterfall off at night so it isn't noisy. Here it is still turned off.

Sneaking in a non-Jamaica picture. This is the first set that I have put together with autostitch to create a panorama shot. It was really calm yesterday and the reflections were neat.

Only place I really set up the tripod was the room, and we took a picture every night.

Been busy and neglected getting photos up here, but here is a view from our room the first night there.

This is from our room overlooking the pool/ocean. Definitely spring for the concierge room - stocked bar, so we had champagne, wine, beer, juice, water, and hard alcohol all at our fingertips. They had a fruit and cheese plate waiting for us in our room, and we cracked open a bottle of champagne and enjoyed the weather.
