almost lost all these pics - storm took out the power and computer went on the fritz. Took about an hour to get it all figured out (boot manager kaboom and BIOS actually reordered boot sequence...weird). So I backed them all up, but it reminded me I haven't posted. So here we are, on the beach, not a care in the world.

Dominican Wal Mart - the shops next to the resort. Bartering is so tiresome, but you can sure get good deals.

not sure what the sign says, but this is where our driver stopped for us to grab a beer on the way to the resort.

Well it is difficult to post pictures with my flaky computer. reinstalling Windows, good thing I keep backups. I did just order my new lens, so when that gets in I will have to play - it's a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X116 Pro DX

regular job + contract work means no time for pictures. Here is one from Jamaica last year. Counting down the days until Dominican Republic this year :)

By the way we weren't on a cruise, this was taken from a shopping area where the ships make port for a day or two.
